5 iPhone Apps That Every Girl Should Own

iPhone Apps

Day One

The most perfect journal app for the iPhone, iPad and Mac. Why? Because it allows you to capture your innermost thoughts in a beautifully designed environment and passcode lock them away. Social media has us tweeting, blogging, Facebooking, Instagramming, Snap Chatting, Vining, (I've lost track of the many more) making a large of our lives public; Day One is a tool designed to capture those thoughts that you don't want to share with the rest of the world.

It's extremely therapeutic to write down the things that inspire or bother you and keep track of your own personal progress. How will you know how far you've come if you don't know where you have been?

iBooks

Yes, the feeling of a real book and the experience of page turning and bookmarking with dog-ears can never be matched with a virtual device. However, being able to annotate, have your entire collection in one place and search everything in a jiffy is beyond useful.

Great writing begs to be read more than once and it's extremely handy to be able to navigate back to your favourite passages in the blink of an eye.

It's also really handy to store PDFs.

Copy

Like Dropbox, but better! More storage, cleaner design and more functionality. It interacts well with the other apps as well so you can save things to and from and easily access them when needed.

Pages

A fantastic word processing tool that allows you to create and edit documents (word docs included) and send them to others afterwards as either a PDF, Pages format or Word doc.

Depending on your dexterity with the iPhone screen you can even design newsletters, posters, resumes, letters, invoices etc.

Numbers

Speaking of invoices... Every modern day girl should have control over her finances, so I highly recommend Numbers. Spreadsheets have never been sexier and more fun and this application is compatible with Excel and CSV files. You can also export to multiple formats. So whether you are updating your accounts or keeping track of your workout schedule with your personal trainer, it's a must have.

Leave the Candy Crush behind and use your iPhone to its full potential: helping make your life better.
